2024 was a busy year, and in a second we’ll share a (partial) recap of what we got up to. But first, we have a plan for 2025 - one that grapples with the aftermath of this election - and YOU are part of it.

This past year, we engaged Minnesotans across the state, having 25,550 conversations, connecting 51,858 Minnesotans with the information they needed to vote, and reaching 1,191,062 Minnesotans in total - more than 20% of the whole state! In a year of otherwise decreased DFL voter turnout, our targeted conversations had a big impact. Precincts where we focused our organizing saw 2.3% higher turnout than the district average.
We didn’t just organize in our elections. We also built people power in teams across Minnesota:
Twin Cities United Performers (TCUP) hosted three shows with over 500 attendees

Minnesota United Parents (MNUP) held dozens of lobby visits at the State Capitol, recruited 31 candidates to take the childcare champion pledge, and delivered more than 300 hours volunteering to elect them to our state government

Renters in Duluth had 2,000 conversations with neighbors across the city, and launched Duluth Tenants Union last month with 150 people on the steps of City Hall

Pro-peace member leaders rallied 350 people to call for Not Another Bomb, won a ceasefire resolution in Minneapolis and mobilized thousands to contact our representatives

With divided government at the state level and a Trump administration at the federal level, we know that our work across Minnesota is more important than ever. Together, we can defend against the worst attempts to roll back the progress we have made and continue moving forward on many fronts.
In 2025, all our member leader teams are launching campaigns to win real changes in cities across Minnesota, and we are gearing up for important municipal elections. At the state level, in addition to working to implement policies we just won, like Earned Sick & Safe Time and Big Pharma regulations, we will defend against rollbacks, make gains where we can, and mobilize to care for communities under attack.
Whether you showed up to an action, signed a petition, or shared a post with a friend, you helped make this possible. We’re up against some of the wealthiest, most powerful people on the planet, and these next few years will be hard. We can only do our work with committed and motivated supporters like you.
