At our November 19 DCC Monthly Meeting, the El Dorado County Democratic Central Committee was pleased to co-host guest speaker, Megan Fan Munce, with the Democratic Women of El Dorado County and Sierra Forward.

Newly elected Member at Large! Congratulations to Bill Woodruff who was elected to be the Member At Large for the Executive Board.


Staci Evans, Vice-Chair, Fundraising & Events announced the December 14, 1-4pm fundraising/events strategic planning meeting, when they'll be mapping out 2025 & 2026 fundraising activities including the upcoming KR dinner (April 27, 2025). This is an in person meeting at Staci's house. Leslie Palmisano announced that she'll be stepping down as DCC Secretary. Many thanks to Leslie for lending her talents, skills and service to the EDC DCC. DCC members interested in being considered to serve as DCC Secretary, should contact Margaret Fortune at [email protected]


The Data Research Team will be conducting a Zoom session on Dec. 13 from 2pm to 3pm that will feature an analysis & discussion of the certified election data from the 2024 El Dorado County General Election. If you'd like to attend this session, please email Terry Fagan Wiley at [email protected]

DWEDC Annual Holiday Party


Join us for our Democratic Women El Dorado County (DWEDC) Annual Holiday Party! Tasty appetizers and festive beverages will be served. Friends and spouses are welcome.


Please bring a warm clothing item (gloves, socks, hats, scarves, etc) to donate to Upper Room Dining Hall in Placerville.

The EDC Dems are proud to announce Sponsorship of the 19th Annual Fred Winn Democratic Essay Contest for High School Juniors and Seniors from all public high schools in the El Dorado County High School District.


Students need to submit their essays no later than January 31, 2025 and fill out and sign the contest form.


Winners will be awarded their prizes between March and April.
