We hoped our country would choose a better path, and now we're left feeling disheartened, angry, and exhausted from fighting against ignorance and hate. Like many of you, I've been struggling to find the right words and to determine my next steps. But I want to be clear: I'm not giving up. You have all inspired me with your tireless work as healers, advocates, and volunteers. You've stood by me and by each other, fighting for a country that lives up to its ideals. I'm committed to standing with you. Our fight for justice continues, even if it looks different than we expected. We may need to adjust our approach, but our core purpose remains the same: to serve others and build a more just society. Together, we can create a future our children will be proud of – a future where communities are strong, historical wrongs are addressed, and justice reaches everyone.
