Hi,
Yesterday, Senator Merkley set a new goal of 75,000 donations since January 2019. To be honest, I thought the goal was a bit of a stretch. That's a lot of grassroots contributions!
But you know what? We're almost there! I can't believe it! Donate now and let's put Senator Merkley over the top!

---- FORWARDED MESSAGE ----
On Tuesday, my campaign manager Dave told you that we'd set a goal of $450,000 raised by the May 19 primary election. And with your help, we smashed that goal.
On Wednesday, my finance director Molly told you that we'd set a new goal of 23,000 donors on our grassroots team this year. And that's right: we smashed that goal, too.
You know what? I'd like to smash a third goal this week.
Since the start of 2019 -- the current "election cycle" -- Team Merkley grassroots donors have made 74,577 online donations.
Let's set a new goal of an even 75,000 donations by Tuesday. Would you chip in $3 right now and help us get there?

Why does this matter? Because Mitch McConnell and his Republican operatives in DC are watching to see if we've got what it takes to fight them off.
Last time I ran for re-election, the Koch Brothers attacked me with millions in negative ads. We built a massive grassroots movement and by October, they had given up.
We need to demonstrate that kind of fight again. So far in 2020, our average online donation has been just $19.90. That's exactly the kind of grassroots support that fires me up!
By Tuesday night, we'll know which Republican will be facing us in November. On Wednesday morning, Mitch McConnell will be on the phone telling the Republican nominee just how hard he or she is going to have to work to beat us.
Donate now and let's make that a really uncomfortable phone call.
