Is your money being used to fund octopus torture farms? ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

The image shows a vibrant orange-brown octopus floating in clear, greenish shimmering water. Its long tentacles are elegantly outstretched, with a rocky underwater landscape visible in the background.

REVEALED: Governments from the EU to Australia have been quietly funneling millions of public money into developing octopus factory farming!

John, this isn’t just unethical – it’s outrageous.

And it could be just the beginning: new research suggests the real amount of taxpayer money being spent to support this inhumane industry could be much higher than we know. Governments are using secretive funding practices – that’s why we need your help.

With all of us chipping in, we could power an investigation to uncover hidden funding, then expose what governments are really doing. Together we could hold their feet to the fire – and continue fighting to stop octopus torture farms and hold governments and corporations everywhere accountable. Can you chip in?

This is the tip of the iceberg. A stunning new report reveals governments are slipping octopus-farming funds into general aquaculture and fisheries budgets, making it nearly invisible to the public. And it’s not just the EU and Australia, the governments of Chile, Mexico and New Zealand are also named.

Limited transparency and patchy data hide these funds’ true destinations, so even traceable projects are wrapped in secrecy. But with your support, we can expose what’s really happening.

If we all chip in, we could run smart tactics like:

  • Uncover the hidden funding governments don’t want you to know about — transparency is the first step to shutting it down;
  • Expose the scandal publicly, making it impossible for EU and Australian leaders to support continuing to funnel your money into octopus suffering;
  • Crush the industry by cutting off its secretive flow of public funds, preventing this cruel practice from spreading;

and continue campaigning against octopus farms and other destructive corporate practices.

California lawmakers just passed a bill that would ban octopus farming and the sale of farmed octopus meat! So we know our campaigns are working – now we need to keep up the pressure on more governments to ban octopus torture chambers for good.

We could blow this scandal wide open! With people-power we could shine a light on the dark corners of public funding that keep cruel practices like this alive and demand accountability. Our community has done it before – and we can do it again.

Can you power our campaigns to stop octopus torture farms and hold governments and corporations accountable for their treatment of the planet?
