After so much bad news, it is exciting to have *another* good update, John:

Recent returns in the red tossup seat have Democrat Adam Gray gaining ground in the pivotal CA-13 U.S House seat! Republican Rep. John Duarte led in the early count, but now as more votes have been counted across the district, Adam Gray is only 348 votes behind.

This was one of our target seats to flip red-to-blue, and there is a path for Democrats winning! But we need to make sure we have the resources to count every single eligible vote.

If we can flip this seat, it will likely shrink Speaker Mike Johnson’s majority to an even smaller margin than in 2022. Will you rush a donation now to ensure Mike Johnson has the smallest possible majority?

Republicans have won control of the U.S. House, but because we are on track to flip seats here in California, there is a good chance that their margin will be even smaller than in 2022.

That gives Democrats leverage to hold Donald Trump accountable and stop his most egregious policies.

And with Trump appointing Republican Members of Congress to Administration posts — could even open the door to Democrats retaking the U.S. House simply by winning special elections over the next year.
