My commitment to the Green Party of Canada took root on a memorable
election night in May 2011, in Montreal. As a young political science
student and non-citizen unable to vote, I was captivated by a federal
election full of upheaval.

That evening, in a bar where the excitement of the "Orange Wave" was mixed
with the anxiety of a Harper majority government, Radio-Canada announced a
historic victory: Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party, had been
elected as an MP. Her victory speech not only marked a political milestone
but also instilled in me a FIRM CONVICTION TO VOTE GREEN.

In 2015, as the federal election approached, that conviction turned into
action. As a volunteer for Daniel Green's campaign, I decided to fully
commit myself. A recent graduate fueled by hope, I wanted to help build a
fairer world--one where our leaders would confront the climate crisis with
courage and work decisively to reduce social inequalities.

Ten years later, after leading several election campaigns, I remain
convinced that the Green Party is the only federal party capable of
offering a bold and coherent vision to tackle the challenges of our time.
But my commitment has evolved. As the father of a three-year-old daughter,
I am no longer just fighting for a better future. I AM NOW FIGHTING TO
ENSURE THAT MY DAUGHTER INHERITS A WORLD LESS DAMAGED THAN THE ONE WE ARE
LEAVING BEHIND.

We no longer speak of fighting climate change, but of adapting to it. The
reality is that we must now take political action to LIMIT THE IRREVERSIBLE
IMPACTS OF THIS CRISIS ON FUTURE GENERATIONS. This is no longer about
acting for today--it is about preventing tomorrow from becoming dire.

choose to commit to future generations or abandon them to a legacy of
