Protecting Your Social Security

I have proudly cosponsored H.R. 82, the Social Security Fairness Act, for several years. I voted in favor of the bill when it was considered in the House. This bill would make sure that many of our public servants including teachers, police officers, and firefighters receive the Social Security payments they deserve.

 

Supporting Our Farmers

I am a proud co-sponsor of the Farm Act to provide support for farmers in Mississippi and across the United States. This legislation provides needed assistance to farmers who have unexpected drops in revenue due to circumstances beyond their control. This legislation is a lifeline for our farmers and delivers immediate help to the farming community across our nation.

 

Meeting with Milwaukee Tools

Thank you to Steve Richman with Milwaukee Tools for meeting with me in my D.C. office. Milwaukee Tools is investing in Mississippi and growing our local job opportunities.  I am looking forward to continuing the conversation with Milwaukee Tools.
