Dear Actors Fund Friends,
We’re proud to announce that The Actors Fund has distributed more than $10.6 million to more than 9,900 professionals in the performing arts and entertainment community in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. This record-breaking amount, granted in just the past eight weeks, helps the most vulnerable members of the performing arts and entertainment community by providing assistance for basic living expenses including essential medications, housing costs, food and utilities.
We couldn’t have done this without your participation. Thank you to everyone who has donated to our COVID-19 Emergency Assistance program, and to all those who have tuned in to the incredible online concerts, shows and fundraisers that have not only helped us raise crucial financial support, but also have brought joy and hope into our homes.
We know the journey ahead is a long one, and people will need us more than ever in the coming weeks and months as theaters, concert halls, TV shows and films remain closed. But we hope you’ll continue to tune in as we share online events of music, laughter and virtual togetherness.
