John --

What a year it’s been! Thanks to your dedication, the Forward Party has made incredible strides in 2024. Together, we’ve shown what’s possible when people come together to demand something better from our politics.

Here’s a quick look at what we’ve accomplished this year - after all, a picture is worth a thousand words.

What’s Next?

2024 was just the beginning. Here’s how we’re keeping the momentum going in 2025 and beyond:

- Expanding State Support: We’re growing our teams, training leaders, and building infrastructure in even more states.
- Recruiting More Candidates: We’re doubling down on finding incredible leaders who can bring Forward’s values to every level of government.
- Sticking to Our Strategy: We’re staying focused on building from the ground up. No shortcuts, no cults of personality—just real solutions for real people.

Reform Had A Tough Election Night, But We Are Fighting Back

Well, we've got two pieces of greatnews for you.

First, just last night, the repeal of Final Four voting in Alaska shifted and the votes for keeping this must-have reform are now winning! <[link removed]>  Because of how large the state is, Alaska takes up to 15 days to count all of its ballots from across the state. The vote to repeal the Final Four reform had been winning, but the voters who want to keep the reform have been gaining ground steadily since election day. Last night, with just 7,800 votes left to count in the state, the "keep" votes pulled ahead by just 192 votes.

Second, four days, ago two members of the House of Representatives, Marie Glusenkamp Perez (D-WA 3) and Jared Golden (D-ME 2), introduced a bill (H.Res 1573) to create a Select Committee on Election Reform. The committee would meet for the duration of one year and finish with the publication of a report and set of recommendations on the following topics:

- Multi-member districts
- Electoral reforms like RCV or Cumulative voting
- Open Primaries
- Independent Redistricting commissions
- Adjusting the members of the House of Representatives

Should this committee form, it would be an enormous win for reform advocates everywhere! You can read the full text of the bill here <[link removed]>.

Forward is pushing into 2025 ready to keep building the party America needs. Every dollar helps ensure that Forward can reach the Americans like you who are ready for something new. Can you chip in today to help?
