On the same day, Democrat Christy Smith, who would not back Medicare for All, lost her special election in California. Around the country, it’s clear – Americans want progressive change.

We’re living through a terrible time of uncertainty. The COVID-19 pandemic underscores the fact that too many Americans lack adequate healthcare coverage and that tying health insurance to employment is a terrible idea. Still Susan Collins refuses to support Medicare for All.
