Our appreciation to the 100’s of volunteers who phone banked, post-carded, and whose “boots were on the ground” promoting Democratic candidates and getting out the vote. More than 25,000 postcards to swing states and Fresno County were sent, over 20,000 phone calls were made to battleground states, and an astounding number of doors were knocked on for local campaigns!

While we know the presidential election results were not what we hoped them to be, it was certainly not the result of a lack of effort or enthusiasm from us.

Take some time for self-care in the weeks ahead so you can come back renewed and ready to fight for the issues and people who need our support.

We must double down in our commitment to resist extreme and hateful rhetoric and continue to fight for marginalized communities. The issues of the working class are important and cannot be forgotten. And we must band together to learn from our mistakes in this election, take stock of what worked and make a plan for the future!
