Two months from now, Donald Trump will be inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States!
In the critical weeks leading up to his second term, President Trump and his top advisers are diligently planning how to get our country back on track. From policies to personnel, these key decisions play a major role in successfully achieving President Trump’s America First agenda.
Of course, these plans include tapping folks to serve in President Trump’s Cabinet. And as you well know, Trump is surrounding himself with a winning team.
Numerous names and positions have already been announced, including Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense, Marco Rubio as Secretary of State, and Doug Burgum as Interior Secretary. Three of my House Republican colleagues have also been chosen for crucial Cabinet and White House posts: Elise Stefanik as U.N. Ambassador, Mike Waltz as National Security Adviser, and Matt Gaetz as U.S. Attorney General.
Notably, Northeast Georgia had one of our own nominated to join the Cabinet! My friend, predecessor, and fellow veteran, Doug Collins, was selected to serve as Secretary of Veterans Affairs. I’m confident Doug will fiercely advocate for our nation’s veterans, support our military families, and make the Ninth District proud.
Unsurprisingly, many of these great Americans have now become the Left’s punching bags.
For years, Democrats and the left-wing media have pursued sham witch hunts and spread malicious lies about President Trump in an attempt to attack his character and discredit his policies. Now, many of his top White House staffers and Cabinet nominees are facing the same smear tactics.
Folks, don’t fall for this nonsense.
The real reason the Uniparty and its liberal pundits are attempting to vilify President Trump’s phenomenal picks? They don’t fit Washington’s mold.
In an impressive showing of how he’s preparing to save our country and deliver on his promises, President Trump has selected bold individuals who will disrupt the Swamp’s status quo. Our government departments and agencies are fraught with woke policies and corrupt actors. In other words, these institutions are in desperate need of reform. I strongly support President Trump’s decision to fill his Cabinet with true conservatives who are determined to not just improve the way Washington works but to drain the Swamp once and for all.
Rest assured, with President Trump, his winning Cabinet, and a Republican-controlled Congress in D.C., the federal government will start working for the American people once again.
