Chevron has not only created more greenhouse gas emissions than any independent oil company in history, it has consistently and deliberately polluted the environment and then attacked its victims when they seek justice. Chevron is the third-largest corporation in the United States, yet it pays virtually no taxes while it profits from environmental destruction and spends billions to silence its critics.
Anti-Chevron Day is a global day of protest by communities affected by Chevron's abuses in twenty different countries across five continents. Next Thursday, May 21st, the True Cost of Chevron Network will hold the 6th annual gathering online to call for an end to Chevron's abuses.
Tune in to hear from communities affected by Chevron's deliberate pollution, legal attacks, environmental racism and climate destruction, and also how you can take action to support their work. Affected communities in Ecuador will hold a live video press conference and allies from Australia will lead a global twitter-storm.
Please RSVP for the live webcast here and share this event with your communities!
