We know everyone is still reeling from the election results, but it’s critical not to lose sight of where we were successful, and to understand why we won and why these are so important.

Last week three states - Colorado, Maryland, and New York - passed expansive abortion ballot amendments.

These victories prove that the fight at the state and local levels is more critical now than ever. 

Help us continue supporting in-state advocates and champions to enact pro-reproductive freedom values and policies. 

Our work continues beyond Election Day. Voters voted FOR abortion access in their states — and given the results of the election, they likely did so assuming their state would be safe regardless of who is in the White House. But you know what folks say about assuming 😉 and access to health care, freedoms, and safety should never be left to assumptions.

NIRH Action Fund’s work in the states is paramount to building political environments that lead to pro-reproductive freedom policies necessary to protect and expand access to care, including abortion.
