3 cents a day. That’s right. That’s all it takes to be an invaluable part of our organization and the fight for Oregon’s future. With 3 cents a day you become a member of OLCV’s Sustainer Circle!

Our monthly donors are extremely valuable parts of our community, because a recurring commitment we can count on allows us to put more of your contribution towards protecting Oregon’s natural legacy. A monthly donation ensures that we spend less on fundraising, administrative costs and other resources, saving trees in the process! To put it simply, a monthly gift of any amount has a larger impact on our ability to fight for Oregon’s climate, clean air and water, and environment we all depend on.

It doesn’t take much to become a member of our Sustainer Circle. You can start at $5 or $10 a month, which is less than the cost of most streaming services! And did you know that a gift of $10 a month is just about 3 cents a day?

These smaller recurring donations are easier for you to manage, and great for us to budget properly towards funding candidate campaigns, recruiting volunteers, building community, and doing the important work of getting climate bills passed. 

If you haven’t already heard, we’ve made some changes to our Sustainer Circle this year, to offer our monthly donors exclusive benefits such as a subscription to the Sustainer E-Newsletter which details all of our work and progress, insider access to the OLCV Election Report and Environmental Scorecard, and timely opportunities to take action on urgent and important issues. 

I know many of us are still feeling the uncertainty and fear after the results from the presidential election, but we’re not afraid to step up in this fight like we have before. It’s during times like these that we need to turn to our communities and rise up. This is why our Sustainer Circle members are invaluable for us - they are a central part of our community who make a large impact every day. Our community members remind us that as long as we have each other, there is still hope. That’s why all of us are still in this fight. Would you join us?

• Advancing solutions for more affordable clean energy, including funding popular climate programs and protecting Oregonians from sky-high rate hikes; 
• Tackling the climate crisis by strengthening our communities’ climate resiliency and protecting Oregonians from extreme weather;
• And, fighting for life sustaining essentials like our clean water – from what we drink to our rivers and streams to the ocean that hugs our coastline.
