When I announced my campaign for New York’s 17th Congressional District, I knew we had an uphill battle ahead of us. But with everything from our democracy to reproductive freedom to our economy on the line, I couldn’t just sit on the sidelines.

While the results weren’t what we hoped for, I’m incredibly proud of the work we did amid the onslaught of super PAC spending and a red wave that swept the nation. Together, we built a historic movement to bring real leadership back to the Lower Hudson Valley. I can't thank you enough for being part of it.

While I won’t be returning to Congress next term, I’m not done fighting. MAGA extremism remains a threat to the lives of all Americans. The work to defend our democracy, lower costs, restore reproductive freedom, combat climate change, and so much more continues.

That’s why I’m continuing the fight with my fundraising committee, Policy is Personal PAC. My PAC is working to elect more leaders who understand the struggles everyday families are facing because they’ve lived them. Leaders who will listen to everyday Americans and pursue bold and pragmatic policy solutions to our nation's greatest challenges.
