Over 30 years ago, I was an intern for Delaware's Democratic senator: Joe Biden. Since then, I've grown under his leadership and mentorship. Today, I'm proud to call him my friend and honored to serve in the very Senate seat he held for 36 years.

I know I'm not the only Delawarean who watched with great pride as Joe Biden became Vice President and then President of the United States. I've seen how he fights every day for our families up close. It's been an honor to work alongside his administration, and I look forward to creating more change and cementing the legacy of his presidency before the end of this year.
