Dual Enrollment in California

California is investing in dual enrollment programs, which give high school students access to college courses and credits. The vast majority of dual enrollment courses are offered by California Community Colleges. Participation has grown significantly in recent years, but course-taking and outcomes vary across demographic groups and state regions.
