Bad actors can spend anywhere between a few hundred thousand to several million dollars targeting a single journalist or outlet who exposes the truth. We have limited funding and capability to match those resources.

OCCRP is launching the “Don’t Let Them Kill the Story” campaign to help those who risk everything to report the truth. We are building a security fund to protect journalists.
