We’ve been through a lot these last couple years. There have been urgent crises in this country, across the world, and here in New Jersey.

As a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and a former helicopter aircraft commander, I learned early on that in a crisis, there are only three options: you can either lead, follow, or get out of the way.

I know which one I pick — and that’s why I’m thrilled to share that I am officially running for Governor of New Jersey. John, will you split a contribution between me and The Majority Rules to become a Founding Donor of my campaign for New Jersey?

In New Jersey, we don’t whine. We work.

We’re inventors, innovators, and builders. We work with our minds — and our hands.

So let’s be the state that builds more housing. The state that fixes the economy. And let’s make life more affordable for hard-working New Jerseyans — from health care, to groceries, to child care. 

In Congress, I’ve fought every day to address these challenges. They aren’t new, and I’m ready to keep confronting them head-on.

But we won’t stop there.

This is the state, more than any other, that guaranteed our freedom as we fought for our nation’s independence. Today, we can also be the state that sets the gold standard for protecting rights and freedoms we know will be under attack from Donald Trump’s Washington – beginning with abortion rights.

Because in New Jersey, we love our country. We’re proud of our state. We value our freedoms. And we’ll defend them with everything we’ve got.

In the Navy, I was on a mission to protect our country. Now, I’m announcing my candidacy for governor on a mission to get things done for New Jersey.

John, I’m asking you to join us. Will you help us make the first day of our campaign as strong as possible by splitting a contribution of any amount?

This will be a campaign we build together. We all have a place and a say in New Jersey’s future. I have met so many people who believe as deeply as I do in the promise of our state.

This year is going to be huge in the fight for fair elections! We have seen that voting rights and the integrity of our elections continue to be under attack. Some candidates and organizations have continued to use shady, undemocratic tactics to suppress voters. It's time to fight back!
