What does it truly mean to be a woman? How do women uniquely shape culture, politics, and daily life? What are the secrets to building a lasting marriage? And what are some of the biggest lies that women are facing today?
John,
What does it truly mean to be a woman? How do women uniquely shape culture, politics, and daily life? What are the secrets to building a lasting marriage? And what are some of the biggest lies that women are facing today?
These are a few of the topics discussed with my good friends Allie Stuckey and Lisa Bevere in Live Action’s latest “Exclusives” video.
We did not shy away from the difficult topics, such as pornography in marriage, reasons to break up with the person you’re dating, and more.
Just as there is a prevailing problem of fatherlessness, many women feel they have no role models or mother figures they can learn from. While this conversation is primarily for those women, I encourage men to listen as well: [link removed] ([link removed] )
It was beautiful to hear Lisa’s perspective on marriage and the difficult but rewarding lessons she’s learned after being married for over 40 years. She spoke about how men and women naturally complement and need each other.
She spoke about how the rise of phrases like “The future is female” has caused cultural damage. She said, “Instead of loving and respecting our husbands, we are loving and respecting our children and trying to train our husbands. Everything is upside down.”
Allie spoke about how young women are becoming more progressive, while young men are becoming more conservative, how marriage rates are declining, and how much of this is tied to abortion.
“All women were born with this instinct to nurture and to nourish and to beautify and to raise. That’s why we’ve got our dolls, our Barbies, that’s why we want to play house and family… and that doesn’t just go away because the culture changes.”
We touched on the fact that Allie and Lisa also each just released a new book!

I’m inspired by these women and grateful to be working alongside them to not only expose the lies our culture promotes but also to reveal the freedom that comes with living in accordance with God’s design.
Let me know what you think of this episode and be sure to share it with the women in your life!
