The devastating economic fallout of COVID-19 is widening the
already immoral levels of inequality that plague American
society.
That's why we are deeply disturbed that Joe Biden is taking
advice on the economic recovery from proud Milton Friedman fanboy
Larry Summers.
According to The Nation, "going back decades, Summers has
opposed big stimulus spending, regulation of Wall Street, and
pushes for economic equality."
Summers' record supporting policies that have punished working
people and rewarded corporate power is the last thing we need at
this time of great economic crisis. Rush a donation now to help
us keep up the pressure on Biden to cut all ties with Larry
Summers immediately!

Summers was prominent in the neoliberal push to repeal the
Glass-Steagall protections that were instituted during the Great
Depression and a major factor in the 2008 financial crisis.
He also actively argued against relief that could have kept
homeowners in their houses instead of being thrown out on the
street with foreclosures.
And late last year, he made a bizarre case against the wealth
tax by disgustingly equating support for it with antisemitism.
The bottom line is this: Larry Summers has spent his career
arguing for policies that punish working people and exacerbate
inequality.
If Joe Biden is serious about helping ordinary Americans, he
will stop listening to Larry Summers as soon as possible.
Donate here to help us organize grassroots power to demand that
Joe Biden stop taking advice from Larry Summers on the economic
recovery.
