Senate Majority Leader Schumer has told the senators to expect a late night tonight... They’ll be staying in to confirm Biden judges. This is crucial to protecting our judiciary in advance of the next Trump administration.
With the end of the year rapidly approaching, we’re running out of time for Biden judges to get confirmed. These judges are an important line of defense against decisions by bad Trump judges—both already on the court and those who will be nominated in the coming administration.
With the Senate staying in tonight, now is the time to let the Majority Leader know that you’re paying attention to the important work of confirming judges.

The judges that have been nominated by President Biden and confirmed by the Senate are one of the ways we can safeguard our rights and freedoms against the incoming Trump administration—and we’re running out of time to add to that roster.
Our judiciary needs fair-minded judges issuing decisions protecting our rights now more than ever. We have just shy of 40 days left before the Senate leaves for the year and it is crucial that our Democratic majority get to work.
We know what a second Trump administration means for our courts. As soon as Trump and the MAGA Senate take office they’re going to work to appoint as many far-right extremists to our federal courts as possible. We can and will resist, but the best defense we can provide is by confirming President Biden’s nominees now so that there are fewer vacancies for them to fill.
Democrats must work to appoint fair-minded judges to our courts before it is too late.
It is urgent for Democrats to rush to defend our courts now! The Trump administration is coming in January 2025 and we must act to protect our rights and freedoms from far-right attacks.
