MTG says she will expose "sexual harassment claims" against Republicans if Gaetz report released
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has gone to bat for her fellow MAGA extremist, vowing to expose other Republican sexual misconduct scandals should Gaetz's ethics report and its damning contents be released. “If we are going to release ethics reports and rip apart our own that Trump has appointed, then put it ALL out there. All the ethics reports and claims including the one I filed. All your sexual harassment and assault claims that were secretly settled paying off victims with tax payer money...If we’re going to dance, let’s all dance in the sunlight." Never thought we'd say this, but you make a great point, Marge. We SHOULD release all the claims made against House Republicans. It's not fair for Matt Gaetz to be the only dirtbag to see any kind of consequence for his appalling actions.
Take Action: Tell Congress to release the Matt Gaetz ethics report!

Project Unloaded takes on America's deadly, toxic gun culture
Project Unloaded: We don’t have to wait four more years to take on gun violence. Project Unloaded is taking on gun culture today — and you can too. To stop gun violence, we must change gun laws — and gun culture. The gun industry has sold us on the myth that guns make us safer. They’ve made millions — while Americans have paid with their lives. The truth is that homes with guns have twice as many homicides as homes without firearms. Gun suicides are three times as likely in homes with a gun. It's going to take all of us to change America's toxic gun culture, and it starts with you. Will you add your name and pledge to live your life unloaded?
Hacker got damaging sealed testimony against Matt Gaetz, attorney says
The hacked files contain unredacted sworn testimony from a woman who said the Florida gasbag paid her for sex when she was 17, along with other depositions from witnesses involved in the case. Witnesses in the case said the 17-year-old alleged trafficking victim had "access to the bedrooms in the Dorworth Residence to engage in sexual activities" as well as "alcohol, cocaine, ecstasy also known as molly, and marijuana." We need the full ethics report from the House Oversight Committee released ASAP; these kinds of allegations are very disqualifying for an attorney general nominee who isn't qualified for the job in the first place.
Take Action: Reject Matt Gaetz's nomination for Attorney General!
Trump picks Dr. Oz to run Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
Because of course he did. Dr. Oz, one of the biggest promoters of COVID-19 misinformation and a lifelong snake oil salesman, will now be in charge of the very public health programs he doesn't believe should exist, having previously declared that Americans have "no right" to healthcare. Buried in the press release from the Trump team was a hint at forthcoming cuts to Medicare and Medicaid — "He will cut waste and fraud within our Country’s most expensive Government Agency" — and we should remember that Oz endorsed privatizing Medicare when he was running for Senate, so...yeah. America's terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad November continues to get worse and worse.
Take Action: Say NO to Elon's DOGE department!
Linda McMahon expected to be named Education secretary
To recap, we've nominated a drug-addled sex trafficker as attorney general, a sex predator weekend TV host to head up the Pentagon, a snake oil salesman TV host for Medicaid and Medicare, and an anti-vax consipracy theorist with brain worms as secretary of Health & Human Services... So it tracks that Trump would put an entertainment wrestling CEO in charge of...education. What could possibly be next? Joe Exotic to lead the National Park Service?
CNN's Dana Bash watches Nazis marching in Ohio and says, "We don’t know what side of the aisle this comes from"
In a shocking display of journalistic malpractice, CNN's Dana Bash managed to find a way to blame progressives for ARMED NAZIS MARCHING THROUGH COLUMBUS WAVING SWASTIKA FLAGS. Bash called in Ohio Democrat Greg Landsman, who dutifully equated the literal hate march by Nazis to the peaceful protests outside of his house by Palestinian human rights activists, who erected art installations reminding the congressman of the horrific atrocities being perpetrated in Gaza with the United States' backing. The two incidents couldn't be further apart on the spectrum of morality, and it does not bode well for the future of progressive activism that Trump's second term hasn't even started yet and far-right extremists are already getting this kind of whitewashing from major media voices.
American abortion patients put in extreme danger by Trump and his cronies
National Network of Abortion Funds: Abortion rights are under attack by right-wing extremists across the country, and it's about to get a hundred times worse under President Trump and Republican control of the government. That's why Dose of Democracy is working overtime to help raise money for the National Network of Abortion Funds and make sure they have the resources they need to provide care to as many patients as possible before it's too late. Will you make a donation to help those on the front lines of the war for reproductive rights?
Union calls Democratic Party staff layoffs after record fundraising "callous"
The union representing workers at the Democratic National Committee have accused the party’s leadership of a “callous” betrayal of party values after the sudden announcement of layoffs of permanent employees — without any severance. “Despite record-breaking fundraising, the DNC failed to provide any financial support to those who have tirelessly served the Democratic Party and its mission,” said the union in a press release. The DNC and its various arms raised over a BILLION dollars in the 2024 election cycle, so it's hard to understand how or why their workers would be let go without any sort of restitution for all their hard work. “I’m heartbroken. These are single parents. These are new parents. These are recent graduates. You can ask any laid-off employees, friend or family, and they will vouch for the toll this job takes on you. You already give up so much when you decide to work for this organization and now they’re taking our financial security as well," said one laid-off staffer. Really not a good look for a party that claims it's for the people!
GOP no-shows help Democrats approve judicial nominee
Mustafa Taher Kasubhai was confirmed as a district court judge in Oregon thanks to a slew of absences by GOP senators. Trump expressed his displeasure on social media but failed to acknowledge that the confirmation was eased by having Senators JD Vance and Marco Rubio accompany him to Florida for a Space X launch instead. Sen. Chuck Schumer has vowed to continue confirming as many judges as possible, warning his caucus that there were going to be some late nights ahead — to the consternation of Republicans, who wailed at the impropriety of lame-duck confirmations despite having done the very same thing at the end of Trump's first term.
Take Action: Tell the Senate to confirm Biden's judges NOW!
House GOP lays out legislative priorities: Border wall, tax cuts, cutting Biden programs
Ah, just what the American people demanded: an aggressive policy push to lower the price of eggs. Wait *holds hand to earpiece* it's just tax cuts for the wealthy and frivolous desert vanity projects instead? Who could have seen this coming?!
For the union makes us strong!
And in other news
Hope...
