Dear John,
I’m writing because an important deadline is approaching. I’m working hard to make sure West Virginia has an Attorney General who has the relevant experience to deliver results for us in this critical office. But I need your help to meet our May 24th fundraising deadline. Every penny received makes a difference as we seek to elect new leaders to stabilize our public health and restore our economy. If you could pitch in $10 today, I promise to immediately put it to good use.
We are living through some pretty tough, scary times. West Virginians deserve an Attorney General who will fight for them instead of one who is fighting to take healthcare away from hundreds of thousands of us. While West Virginians are worrying about staying safe and healthy, our Attorney General is actively trying to take away our health care, and deflecting blame on China for his own public policy failures.
This is why it’s critical that we keep our campaign going strong and reach out to as many voters as possible. As the primary election approaches, it becomes even more important to reach each of our fundraising goals.
As your Attorney General, I'm going to do what I've done throughout my career as a lawyer, advising Senator Byrd on labor issues, and representing miners statewide: stand up for regular folks who are tired of getting pushed around and being denied the wages and benefits they earned, and healthcare they deserve. But I need your help.
Pitch in today to help me maintain my strong financial lead by the approaching fundraising deadline.
