Tomorrow is the last day before Congress adjourns for the Thanksgiving holiday.
You and I simply MUST stop the expansion of the military draft in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
The escalation to full-scale war is happening NOW.
We cannot wait until they announce the NDAA is coming to the floor. We need
to act NOW.
RIGHT NOW, a group of senators and representatives are working out “compromise” language between the two different versions of the NDAA. The House-passed version included automatic draft registration, while the Senate version imposed the military draft on women.
The only acceptable “compromise” is to remove BOTH of these provisions!
Call your U.S. Senators and Representative TODAY by calling (202) 224-3121 and DEMAND they remove military draft provisions in the NDAA.
You can call the same number, (202) 224-3121, to reach the Capitol operator. Ask to be connected to your representative, then after you leave your message, call again to reach each of your U.S. Senators. (The operator will assist you identifying them if needed.)
Here’s a simple script you can use, or say whatever you like:
Hi, this is (your name) from (your city). I’m calling to ask the congressman to OPPOSE expanding the
military draft in any form in the National Defense Authorization Act.
Tell the members of the conference committee to REMOVE provisions that expand the military draft, and if any such provision is in the final version of the bill, vote NO.

You can say more if you like, but that’s all that is necessary.
