Sure, there are some things about living in this modern era that are a little stressful. But it’s not all bad. Technology can do some pretty cool things. For instance, through the magic of the Internet, we can tell you that you signed up to receive newsletters from PublicSource at least...

Ta-da! And there’s a lot to reminisce about as we look back. Each year, we publish over 300 stories about what’s going on in our region, which are then thoughtfully compiled in over 150 unique newsletters each year. Each word you read in them has involved multiple members of our team, who put in hard work, careful thought and vigorous fact-checking.

We love providing this service for you and everyone else in our region. It’s an honor for us to serve the information needs of our fellow community members, and we make it all available without paywalls because we believe that’s the right thing to do.

However, that belief is only part of the picture; we also depend on reader support. We can only do this work because readers who find it valuable give what they can to help it continue.
