John, it’s official: Rep. Lucy McBath, Congresswoman for Georgia’s 6th district, has won re-election! Since the tragic death of her son at the hands of senseless gun violence in 2012, Lucy McBath has fought relentlessly to ensure no parent has to undergo that same pain. She championed legislation stipulating universal background checks for all gun sales and Red Flag Laws to limit access to firearms for those who are potentially dangerous, both of which passed the House. We couldn’t be prouder to have Rep. McBath representing the Peach State for another term, and we’re excited to see what we can accomplish together in the next two years.
