Hi John,

One of my top priorities is bringing your taxpayer dollars back home to fund essential projects. That’s why we’ve secured a $3.9 million federal grant from the Maritime Administration to make significant infrastructure improvements at the Cross Sound Ferry Terminal in New London.

The new funding will allow Cross Sound Ferry to make much needed improvements that will directly contribute to New London’s ongoing work to improve shoreline infrastructure.

What sort of improvements?

• 🌆 Economic Growth: Upgrades will boost local businesses, tourism, and job opportunities in southeastern Connecticut.


• 🚢 Enhanced Ferry Services: Construction of a new bulkhead and installation of two new ferry ramps will improve efficiency and safety.


• ⚓ Improved Infrastructure: Relocating and installing new mooring dolphins, adding a floating loading platform, and repairing existing bulkheads will strengthen our shoreline.
