John — remember earlier this year when Donald Trump shamelessly solicited a $1 billion campaign bribe from oil executives? He promised to reverse progress on clean energy, roll back environmental regulations, and hand over more offshore drilling leases — all starting on Day One of his presidency.

Well, he’s already delivering on that dirty deal, and he’s about two months ahead of his schedule.

Last week, Trump announced two little-talked-about but catastrophic picks for his new administration:

❌ Lee Zeldin to lead the EPA, a former congressman with one of the worst environmental records imaginable.

❌ Chris Wright to head the Department of Energy, a fossil fuel CEO who denies the climate crisis and directly profits from oil and gas extraction.

With these appointments, Trump is signaling a full-scale assault on every inch of progress we’ve made on clean energy, electric vehicles, climate resilience, and so much more.

Big Oil is working in lockstep to dismantle climate progress for profit. They’re united, and we have to be united, too.
