Governor Gordon Issues Statement Supporting the Appointment of Chris Wright as Energy Secretary
CHEYENNE, Wyo. –Governor Mark Gordon has issued the following statement on the appointment of Chris Wright as the United States Secretary of Energy:
"President Trump has wisely reached into the energy field to select the next Secretary of Energy. Chris Wright has a wealth of experience in the energy industry, including oil, gas and nuclear, and he understands how important it is to produce domestic energy securely.
I am confident that he will make the necessary course corrections to support energy programs already underway in Wyoming, including fracking and the use of CO2 for enhanced oil recovery."
