John,
I want you to hear this first, directly from me:
Today, I am launching the Working Class Heroes Fund. Inspired by the lessons of our historic race for U.S. Senate, we are going to challenge the corrupt system and ignite a wave of working-class candidates.
Our race for U.S. Senate wasn't the end of this movement. Together, we got closer to defeating a ”safe” Republican incumbent than anyone ever dreamed.
Working class Democrats, Republicans, and Independents came together to prove that we can and must demand better from Washington.
If you already believe in our mission to elect more independent working class heroes to public office – and defeat the wealthy corporations and party elites like Mitch McConnell — please make your first contribution to Working Class Heroes right now. [[link removed]?] Otherwise, keep reading…
Less than 2% of our elected leaders are from the working class. Congress is a bunch of millionaires controlled by billionaires and special interests.
The Working Class Heroes Fund is the only organization in the country dedicated to uniting and mobilizing working people across party lines to give the working class a seat at the table. With your help, we will:
* organize working class voters to mobilize for working class issues and working class candidates,
* support working class candidates, particularly patriots who have served their country, who are building coalitions across party lines to give the working class a seat at the table,
* fight for policies that strengthen working class jobs and families,
* support labor unions and strike funds.
I am so dedicated to this effort. But I also need to put food on the table for my wife and three kids – that’s why I’m returning to work as a steamfitter soon, too.
If you’re with me, please become a Day One donor to the Working Class Heroes Fund. Just $5 fuels our momentum and shows everyone in Washington that they better give a damn about working people — or we’re coming for your seat. [[link removed]]
