On Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. ET, staff from the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) and the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) will present official statistics on youth and the using key data collections administered by the agencies. Presenters will cover the latest statistical information on various youth justice topics, including youth victims of violent crime, trends in youth arrest rates, and youth in residential placement facilities. The webinar will conclude with insights on these findings from a programmatic perspective provided by a discussant from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP).
