Some will do anything for access or to stay relevant—even if it means bending the knee and kissing the ring of someone who has openly attacked our democratic values. Others, like Jeff Bezos, have sent Trump fawning congratulatory messages, using obsequious flattery to earn his good graces.

Yeah, screw that. That’s not me, and that’s not Daily Kos. We’re here to fight for truth, progress, and justice, not to make nice with the forces of extremism.

This community has always been about grassroots activism, accountability, and refusing to compromise on our values. We don’t cater to billionaires, and we don’t play games with the truth. We’re independent, and we rely on supporters like you to keep our work going strong.
