It’s the New Jersey Democrats,

It’s been two weeks since the 2024 election. Donald Trump secured the presidency, and his Republican Party will have a majority in the House and Senate to support his agenda.

There’s no sugarcoating it: November 5th’s election did not go as we hoped. But New Jersey still has a lot to be proud of. Together, we set a powerful example for the rest of the country by rejecting the far-right in our state.

We’re proud to have chosen Andy Kim to be the first Korean American to serve in the Senate and continue his work of standing up to corruption and fighting for working-class Americans.

We also elected Nellie Pou, LaMonica McIver, and Herb Conaway to represent us in Congress and stand against Trump’s agenda. Their leadership will be needed now more than ever.

New Jersey is one of only two states in the country, along with Virginia, that will hold a gubernatorial election in 2025. This election will be consequential to protecting our democracy.

We can’t let the setbacks from this election stop us from making progress. Let’s get to work!
