Hi there, it’s Deborah Ross.
Donald Trump back in the White House is clearly not the result we wanted, and I know we’re all still processing the results of the election.
I won’t lie; this is a difficult time, and I want to make sure we all acknowledge it for one another.
But here’s the thing: Hope is a big part of what defines us as Democrats. We have an unshakable faith that things will get better. And over the next four years, we must not lose that determination. We cannot give up hope.
It was immensely heartening to see that folks like you and me here in NC-02 made a clear choice in this election by voting to reject divisiveness and hate and embrace hope and opportunity, and I couldn’t be more proud that North Carolinians elected champions for democracy in Josh Stein, Jeff Jackson, Mo Green, and more key statewide positions.
Today, and everyday, I promise to fight for North Carolina with all I’ve got, because that’s why I do this work — for our communities right here in Wake County.
Now more than ever, as we enter a new Trump presidency, Democrats must stand united against extremism. I’m grateful to have you on my team as we keep fighting. If you’d like to help kickstart our 2025 cycle, you can click below to make a donation of any amount you’d like to my campaign:
Thank you,
Deborah Ross
