John -
Donald Trump and his presidency pose a serious threat — to our climate, and also to the Black, Indigenous, immigrant, Trans, and communities of color on the frontlines of Trump’s hateful attacks.
Trump’s white supremacist and pro-fossil fuel agenda promises to continue his legacy of ramming pipelines through Indigenous lands and gutting our bedrock environmental protections, exposing frontline communities of color to worse air and water pollution and even worse climate disasters. He threatens to undo all of the work we’ve fought for as climate protectors.
But now is not the time to give up. It is the time to fight for what we believe in: a just, sustainable, fossil fuel-free future for all. Are you with us?
Add your name to our pledge to fight Trump’s dangerous fossil fuel agenda and protect our planet.
Â
Trump is pro-drilling, pro-fracking, and pro-pipelines. During his first presidential term, his decision to remove the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement — and his repeated threats to do so once again — is just the tip of the iceberg of many threats to our future.
But, John, we have a path to fight back against the incoming Trump administration, and it looks like this:
- Bold opposition to Trump’s fossil fuel agenda. Now is the time to get loud about our opposition to the Trump fossil fuel agenda through mobilizations and collective protests against new fossil fuel projects.
- Radical growth of our grassroots network. We must build our community from the ground up to combat a climate-denying administration. We’re strengthening our connections with local organizers to power the fight to win climate campaigns on city and state levels.
- Pressuring world leaders to act. The climate crisis is global and requires global solutions and solidarity. We must continue working with global climate activist movements to put pressure on world leaders at the upcoming COP29 and COP30 UN climate talks.
- Stand in solidarity with frontline communities and organizations. Trump will threaten the lives, health, and safety of so many people, including Black, Indigenous, immigrant, Trans, and communities of color. Now more than ever, our movements need each other, and we will stand with them, without compromise.
We will not despair, John. We will lean into transformational movements and fight for the climate justice we deserve. And we won’t back down until we solidify a just transition toward renewable energy in the United States.
The work to defeat Trump’s dangerous fossil fuel agenda is going to take all of us. Add your name to amplify our collective call to reject Trump’s fossil fuel agenda.
In solidarity,
Team 350
