Trio of Trump Picks Creates Headaches for GOP |
by Suzanne Bowdey |
You know it's a surreal time in Washington, D.C. when Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa.) is the Democrat making the most sense. While his party has a collective "freakout" over Donald Trump's potential hires, the Senate's resident hoodie-wearer was asked if he's as panicked as his colleagues about the president-elect's Cabinet choices. "It's still not even Thanksgiving yet," he told CNN. "And if we're having meltdowns, you know, every tweet or every appointment or all of those things, I mean, it's going to be four years." |

Study: Christian Voters Responsible for Trump Victory |
by S.A. McCarthy |
In the wake of President-elect Donald Trump's historic electoral victory earlier this month, media pundits and talking heads have focused on his significant gains among traditionally-Democratic voting blocs, such as young voters and both black and Hispanic men; but a new study is suggesting that it was Christian voters who were the decisive factor in Trump's win. George Barna, senior research fellow for the Center for Biblical Worldview at Family Research Council and director of the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University, published his post-election report last week, demonstrating that Christian voters "made the difference in the race." |

Seventh Circuit Reverses Ruling against Indiana Law Protecting Minors from Gender Transitions |
by Joshua Arnold |
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit upheld an Indiana law protecting minors from gender transition procedures last Wednesday. The appellate court had stayed a preliminary injunction that blocked all of the law except its prohibition on gender transition surgeries in a simple order on February 27, allowing the law to take effect. Wednesday's ruling (K.C. v. Medical Licensing Board of Indiana) included a 50-page opinion for why the court reversed the lower court ruling, vacated the preliminary injunction, and remanded the lawsuit back to the district court. |

Democrats Defy Election Laws as Swing States Keep Counting Ballots |
by S.A. McCarthy |
With Election Day having begun and ended nearly two weeks ago, concerns over election integrity have passed out of the minds of most voters, but that isn't stopping Democrats from trying to cheat. In Pennsylvania, Democrats and local officials are openly defying state law in an effort to hand Senator Bob Casey, Jr. (D) a fraudulent win. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled in September, over a month before Election Day, that ballots cannot be counted if the envelope is not signed and dated, according to Section 3050(a.4) of the state's Election Code. However, Democratic county election officials in Bucks County are disregarding the court's ruling and counting unsigned and undated ballots as the state begins a recount for Pennsylvania's contested seat in the U.S. Senate. |

'What Do We Do Now?': Advancing the Right to Life in 2025 and Beyond |
by Kathy Athearn |
Conservatives have many reasons to be thankful after our nation's elections. Now that Republicans will control the House, Senate, and White House, American families look forward to our leaders working to create a stronger economy with lower gas, food, and housing prices. We anticipate more secure borders, a crackdown on crime, and peace through strength on the world stage. We're also eager to see an end to wokeism, boys in girls' sports, gender mutilation of kids, and a return to the protection of religious freedom and parental rights. |

Under Trump, Will the Left Slow Down Its LGBT Activism? |
by Sarah Holliday |
Now that the 2024 presidential election is in the past, Democrats have been pointing fingers as to who (or what) is to blame for the defeat of Democratic nominee Kamala Harris. Some have claimed the vice president's emphasis on transgender ideology was what doomed her campaign. A single Trump campaign ad, "Kamala is for they/them. President Trump is for you," is said to have moved voters 2.7 percentage points to the Right, according to a Harris super PAC, Future Forward. |

The Return of the King: Donald Trump and the Question of Legitimacy |
by Cooper Stephens |
In the wake of the recent November election, it feels as if a great many issues in our world are suddenly falling into their proper place. The signs are all around us. Russia, having grown weary of its protracted conflict in Ukraine, appears ready to pursue peace. Qatar has issued an eviction notice to Hamas, signaling a major shift in regional geopolitics. Even China, which has been an increasingly aggressive player on the global stage, is now extending an olive branch by declaring its intention to seek "peaceful coexistence" with the United States. Our allies are also changing course, as the EU looks to buy American fossil fuels rather than Russian oil. |
