When lives were threatened by violence, epidemics, or climate catastrophes, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) went where many other organizations couldn’t in 2024—bringing critical care to people who need it most.

As we approach year-end, we’d like to highlight the lifesaving care you powered in 2024.

In response to a measles outbreak this May, our emergency teams in Chad treated over 950 people, including 799 children under five, and vaccinated nearly 40,000 children aged six months to 10 years.

At Nasser Hospital in Gaza, our teams continued to respond to multiple mass casualty events and provide lifesaving aid and medical care, including performing 25 to 30 deliveries a day in the maternity wards.

From March to May, our teams in Haiti conducted 21,707 outpatient consultations and treated 8,449 emergency cases—including 1,128 gunshot wounds. We also admitted 81 severely burned patients to Tabarre hospital. See More

From delivering babies in conflict zones to stopping outbreaks of deadly diseases, our teams remained ready to respond to emergencies because of supporters like you. In Chad, Gaza, Haiti, and in over 70 countries around the world, we provided essential medical care that patients might not otherwise receive during times of crisis.
