NJYD Winning Candidates





It's time to celebrate! We are thrilled to congratulate the NJYD candidates who won their races this election cycle! We retained control in the Senate and were able to elect Democrats up and down the ballot. Congratulations to all.

November Young Dem of the Month



Congratulations to our November Young Dem of the Month, PJ Casey! PJ serves as the Executive Assistant for the New Jersey Young Democrats, where he provides vital operational support to meet organizational goals. He also serves on the Essex County Young Democrats leadership team and as the Sergeant at Arms for the Essex County Democratic Committee, supporting initiatives throughout Essex County. He is a dynamic and driven young professional with a deep passion for politics, law, and public service, and actively organizes initiatives that engage young voters and advance progressive policies. In addition, PJ serves as a field organizer with the New Jersey Coordinated Campaign, supporting the election efforts of Andy Kim for Senate and other Democratic candidates across the state.

A Felician University graduate with a double major in Business Management and Social and Behavioral Sciences, PJ also holds a Pre-Law minor, reinforcing his interest in law and policy. At Felician, he led the Honors Student Government as President, modernizing its constitution to improve communication between faculty and students. As a scholarship recipient, he was a standout athlete, playing Division II lacrosse. His student-athlete experience instilled discipline, teamwork, and resilience, qualities he now applies to his work in politics and public service.

Currently preparing for the LSAT, PJ aims to merge his passion for politics and law, striving to use legal and political avenues to benefit his community. He is also a passionate learner with diverse interests. He has a deep love for history, politics, and government, frequently immersing himself in literature and media that explore these topics. With a commitment to service, PJ looks forward to a career dedicated to creating positive change and protecting Democratic values. Congratulations, PJ!

Veterans Day Event



On Friday, November 8th, the NJYD Military & Veterans Caucus joined forces with the NJDSC Veterans Caucus at the 2024 Mercer County Veteran Services Resource Expo!



This event brought together vital resources and services for our veterans, from employment and healthcare information to housing and education assistance. It was a privilege to connect with our community and support those who have served.

Thank you to Mercer County Veteran Services for hosting this important event and to all those who came out to show their support. Together, we’re building a stronger future for our veterans.
