Trump's picks to lead federal agencies and departments are proof of his anti-wildlife agenda.

Their mantra is to drill, drill, drill away public lands and oceans, enrich Big Oil and Gas, and plunder the wild.

The Environmental Protection Agency is a top target of the Project 2025 game plan.

Lee Zeldin, Trump's choice to lead the EPA, has no environmental background to speak of.

Zeldin will be the puppet through which Project 2025 decimates the Clean Air Act and makes it harder to regulate toxics and pesticides that pollute our water and drive wildlife to extinction.

Trump also chose a champion of the oil and gas industry, Doug Burgum, to lead the Interior Department.

Burgum has longstanding ties to the fossil fuel industry and has worked to expand oil and gas production. His appointment would be a disaster for species like sage grouse and lesser prairie chickens, whose habitat Big Oil wants to plunder.

The new administration is eager to tear down regulations and policies that protect endangered species and public lands.

It sees this moment as its greatest chance to destroy all we've won for the wild, from protections for gray wolves, grizzlies and other species to laws that secure habitat and a livable climate for wildlife and people alike.
