John, this is historic.

We’re taking on Facebook at the US Supreme Court!

Even after facing allegations of undermining democracy in African
countries by allowing its platform to be used for misinformation…even
after helping Trump win the Presidency in 2016…Facebook STILL says it
doesn’t need to warn anyone about the risks it takes when it sells
information about us - and our friends and family - to the highest bidder.

It’s totally scandalous. But a major investor took them to court saying
Facebook can’t hide this information anymore…and won!

Then Facebook appealed the decision at the US Supreme Court and we joined
the fight against them with a powerful legal briefing that ensures the
voices of Facebook users and Ekō member shareholders are heard loud and
clear!

Now we're waiting for the Supreme Court's verdict – and if all of us chip
in, we can keep taking on Facebook and other corporate giants with smart
legal challenges and member-led shareholder resolutions, and show up at
AGMs to hold CEOs like Zuckerberg accountable. Can you chip in to beat Big
Tech – even at the highest court in the land?

This is what our shareholder program is all about – holding companies to
account. We’re doing it with shareholder resolutions that win shocking
levels of support, press-winning interventions at AGMs, opposing Facebook
at the highest court in the US…and much more.

We also forced Apple to release its first human rights report and disclose
previously unknown information about its supply chain.

But especially in the US the ground is always shifting beneath us.
Companies are taking investors to court for shareholder activism, saying
that things like climate and human rights concerns don’t have a
justifiable business element. If we want to keep fighting these battles –
and winning – we need support from Ekō members around the world.

After our Supreme Court hearing against Facebook, we want to ensure we can
keep taking on Facebook and other companies like it from the boardroom to
the courtroom. And for that, we need you – can you help Ekō hold Big Tech
to account?
