Friend,

It's been two weeks since Election Day, but in California and other close Congressional races, we've had to wait a little longer for the final results. I'm reaching out today with the latest update.

I'm excited to share that Democrats George Whitesides and Dave Min have won tight races in CA-27 and CA-47 and will join me in Congress next term. Although we now know that Republicans have won the House majority, winning these seats and narrowing that majority will be a necessary check on the MAGA agenda.

Every valid vote must be counted. Over the weekend, Derek Tran took the lead in the CA-45 race, and we continue to wait for results in a few more congressional contests across the country. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to cure ballots or chipped in to support these campaigns this past week. That commitment and energy are exactly what we need for the fight ahead.

In these coming months, we will continue working on behalf of our families, our country, and our democracy together.
