Since you're on EFF's email list, I'm going to assume you're either the tech wizard of your family, or maybe you're trying to be mindful of how the devices you use impact your life. Either way, we've got something new that can help!

Introducing Digital Rights Bytes—EFF's new site where we answer questions that may be bugging you about the devices that you use.

Broken into byte-sized pieces, we’re diving into common questions, including:

• “Is my phone listening to me?”, 
• “Why is it so expensive to repair my devices?”, and
• “Do I really own the digital media I bought?”

To help answer these questions, we've created simple one-minute animated videos about how and why technology and the digital world works the way it does—for good, and sometimes, for ill.
