TELL THE SENATE: FILL ALL JUDICIAL VACANCIES BEFORE TRUMP TAKES OFFICE

 

When Trump last took office, Sen. Mitch McConnell handed him a massive backlog
of judicial vacancies to fill with far-right extremists for lifetime
appointments.

 

Since then, federal courts dominated by Republican-appointed, far-right judges
have eviscerated environmental safeguards, gutted the Voting Rights Act of 1965,
and devastated the right to reproductive healthcare.

 

That can’t happen again.The Senate’s pro-environment majority must ensure that judicial vacancies are
filled before January 20, 2025. But it’ll take grassroots pressure from LCV
members to make that happen.
