Transgender Day of Remembrance

Each year, PFLAG honors Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR), which offers an opportunity for us to gather together and publicly mourn our trans loved ones whose lives were taken by violence and who might otherwise be forgotten.

We encourage everyone to participate in TDOR vigils, including with our local chapters. Find the chapter nearest you and ask how they are honoring the day. 

It is imperative that we boldly, loudly, and publicly honor those we have lost to anti-trans violence and hate, and speak out against violence anywhere we see it.
