Good afternoon, John ~
As we enter the end-of-year giving season, here at MCV, we are scaling up to advance policies in Maine that ensure clean air, clean water, and access to our democracy; while we are also preparing to defend environmental protections at the national level.
There is hard work in front of us. In the new political landscape, we are renewing our focus on state-level actions where opportunities for progress remain. In the upcoming Maine legislative session, we will be working with environmental champions, partner organizations, community leaders and all of you to keep fighting for a healthy environment and climate-resilient communities.
There is still so much we can do to secure a sustainable and equitable future for all.
We want to share several ways you can support our work influencing policy, holding politicians accountable, educating the public, and collaborating with partners across the state to tackle the climate crisis and protect the environment and democracy in Maine.
