Folks, we’ve been through a lot these last couple years. There have been urgent crises in this country, across the world, and here in New Jersey.

As a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and a former helicopter aircraft commander, I learned early on that in a crisis, there are only three options: you can either lead, follow, or get out of the way.

I know which one I pick — and that’s why I’m thrilled to share that I am officially running for Governor of New Jersey. Will you make a Day One contribution of any amount to help me get to work?

In Congress, I’ve fought every day to address these challenges. They aren’t new, and I’m ready to keep confronting them head-on.

Today, we can also be the state that sets the gold standard for protecting rights and freedoms we know will be under attack from Donald Trump’s Washington – beginning with abortion rights.

Because in New Jersey, we love our country. We’re proud of our state. We value our freedoms. And we’ll defend them with everything we’ve got.

In the Navy, I was on a mission to protect our country. Now, I’m announcing my candidacy for governor on a mission to get things done for New Jersey.
