Household Waste and Recycling Centres
Following the recent opening of Arkwright Street by GMCA, residents will be able to dispose of additional waste and recycling from Saturday, May 16. This includes:
* Garden waste
* Wood
* Cardboard

General rubbish (black bag waste) are already being accepted.

Bulky Bob’s household waste collection service
From Monday 18 May the bulky bob’s waste collection service is restarting.
Items must be collected from outside a property at the moment.
The service will not be entering properties right now.
To book a collection call 0161 770 6644 and pay over the phone with a
credit/debit card.

£12m Highways Improvement Programme continues
Oldham Council is moving on with our £12m highways investment programme despite the current crisis. Over the coming weeks and months our teams will be out across the borough surfacing and repairing roads, so they are in a good condition for pedestrians and drivers to use.

Ensuring that vulnerable people get ongoing support at this time has meant the council and its staff are working in new ways with community groups such as Oldham Foodbank and Action together.
